About the Diamond DA40 TDI

First production year (approx.): 2004.

The Diamond DA40-TDI Star was an early diesel-powered four-seater in the DA40 family, using Thielert/Centurion engine options depending on serial.

Verify your engine installation and AFM revision — diesel performance differs materially from the 180 hp Lycoming DA40.
